Cassie Evenson, RN Birth Assistant & Postpartum Nurse
Cassie graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2002 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After working for Cargill for a year, she decided that she needed a career change and was most interested in working with and helping people. Cassie attended the University of Iowa for nursing and graduated in 2006. Since then she has been working in the hospital setting on a Family Centered Care Unit which consists of postpartum, pediatrics, special care nursery, and gynecologic surgery patients. She has always been amazed and fascinated with pregnancy and the birthing process. Cassie believes that giving birth naturally is extremely empowering and liberating for a woman. She is grateful to be a part of the Health-Foundations team and loves helping families create their own amazing birth stories!! Cassie enjoys spending relaxing days at home with her husband and their three young kids. She also enjoys having play dates, going to classes at the Y, reading, traveling, and cooking & baking (and eating!).
