Staying hydrated in labor is essential! Water or coconut water are and easy go-to. There are many electrolyte drinks out there but most contain pretty sketchy ingredients. Here is a tried and true recipe for a tasty “labor-aide” drink that will help sustain you through labor.

This recipe makes approximately 5 cups or fills a 600ml mason jar.

Ingredients

3-4 Organic Red Raspberry Leaf Teabags

4 Cups of Filtered Water

1/2 Cup of Fresh Lemon Juice

1/4 Cup of Raw Honey

1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

2 Magnesium Tablets (optional)

Directions

Boil two cups water, once boiled, add the tea bags and steep for at least 30 minutes.

Strain the tea and pour into blender

Add two more cups of water, lemon juice, raw honey, sea salt, and magnesium tablets.

Blend well and store in the fridge. This will last one week in the fridge.
