best ovulation tracker

Whether you're planning to start a family or expand your current one, you may be considering an ovulation tracker to assist your fertility journey.

Ovulation trackers can help predict when ovulation may occur and identify the most fertile days of your menstrual cycle. By tracking ovulation, you can time conception to occur during your fertility window.

Tracking menstrual cycles can also help you identify irregularities or potential issues that may need to be addressed with a healthcare provider. There's many benefits to using an ovulation tracker, but with so many out there, finding the right one can feel overwhelming.

Best Fertility Tracker for Women

To assist women in their fertility journey, we've compiled a list of recommended ovulation-tracking tools, devices, and apps.

PREGMATE OVULATION + PREGNANCY TEST STRIPS

Pregmate’s ovulation and pregnancy test strips are convenient and affordable. We like this because it is offered as a set. Both are easy to use and interpret.

The one downside is that this kit may not suit you if you have irregular cycles. It also comes with 100 strips per pack, so you're unlikely to run out and need to purchase again.

MIRA CONFIRM BUNDLE

The Mira ovulation tracker bundle is a wonderful option for those with PCOS and irregular cycles.

It does have a higher price point but is very comprehensive. The Mira Confirm Bundle comes with two kinds of tests:

  • One to detect LH and E3G, the hormones that usually spike shortly before ovulation

  • One to detect PdG, a hormone that indicates ovulation has successfully occurred.

It also includes the Mira Analyzer, an in-home testing device.

Apps can be another great option and are very affordable. They can help you become more in tune with your body.

CLUE PERIOD & CYCLE TRACKER

The Clue Period & Cycle Tracker is among the most highly rated apps. It's free to download with in-app purchases available.

If you’re trying to conceive, this app helps you plan for pregnancy with an ovulation calculator and fertility predictor. If you're tracking your basal body temperature to check for ovulation, you can also enter this information directly in the app.

FLO PERIOD & OVULATION TRACKER

Another excellent free option is Flo Period & Ovulation Tracker, which also has optional in-app purchases. This app tracks your period, ovulation, and fertility.

Flo uses artificial intelligence to interpret your individual data accurately. It also notifies you about your most fertile days, which can help when trying to conceive.

OVIA FERTILITY & CYCLE TRACKER

Finally, the Ovia Fertility & Cycle Tracker tells you your fertile window predictions using details about your periods, sex life, and symptoms.

You're given health summaries and statistics with valuable information, like your average cycle length, period length, and more.

How To Choose The Best Ovulation Tracker for You

When choosing an ovulation tracker, there are several considerations to keep in mind.

First, consider the type of tracker you prefer. As mentioned, there are many different kinds available, including

  • Apps

  • Wearables

  • Fertility monitors

Next, make sure you understand the features each tracker offers. Some may offer more advanced predictions or tracking capabilities than others.

It's also important to choose a tracker that's easy to use and fits into your lifestyle and budget.

By taking all of these factors into consideration, you can choose the best ovulation tracker that meets your needs and helps you achieve your fertility goals.
