During this online session, our Twin Cities Birth Center IBCLC + Lactation Consultant will go over the basics of pumping for your baby when you’re back on the job, down to the nitty-gritty details. To help prepare you for this return to work, we will talk you through the following:

  • Your Minnesota workplace rights when it comes to pumping at work

  • Creating your own pumping schedule at work

  • How and when to advocate for your workplace pumping needs

  • Cleaning your pump and safely storing milk at work

  • Supplies to help you feel more comfortable during the workday

  • Taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally before, during, and after pumping
